The Youth of Wilmington UMC are a vital part of the overall life of the Church. The Youth program grades 6-12 participate in a wide variety of programs. Weekly meetings include topic discussions; concerts; social gatherings; interfaith worship; fun events like visits to a trampoline park, bowling or game nights; and opportunities to make a difference in the local community and the world. All youth are welcome to participate in all events throughout the year. Additionally, special programs to accomplish specific projects gather periodically, travel opportunities like retreats, mission trips are favorite and the High school Girls group, High school Guys Group meet monthly,
Fellowship & Friendship extends beyond High school.
Pre-Youth events for 5th Graders are planned 3 times a year.
Gathering of post High School Young adults happen the Final Friday of the month at Panera on Main Street in Wilmington. 7:30 pm.
PRIME- Folks age 24-35 attend area cultural, sporting events and spiritual destinations for friendship, support and fun.
