Rev. Cheryl Meachen began her ministry at Wilmington United Methodist Church in July 2026, bringing with her many years of faithful pastoral leadership and a deep love for Christ and the Church. She has served congregations throughout New England, including churches in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and is known for her compassionate spirit, thoughtful preaching, and commitment to helping people grow in their faith.
Throughout her ministry, Pastor Cheryl has been passionate about building welcoming communities of faith where people of all ages can experience God's love, discover their gifts, and serve others in meaningful ways. She believes the church is called to be a place of hope, grace, and transformation, where everyone is invited to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.
Pastor Cheryl is excited to begin this new chapter of ministry with the Wilmington United Methodist Church family and looks forward to walking alongside the congregation as they worship, serve, and share God's love with the community.
